About Me

Five time winnner of the Golden Ink Knife award and all-around blanket washing champion. I love the smell of ink in the morning, and miss the days when I could smoke a cigar and wash my press with kerosene. Electronics are our future and are great and all that, but there is still something to be said for hot lead, cold steel, bright lights, and lots of motors, pumps and labor.

For intaglio and relief, plexiglass makes an ideal polymer plate backer to prevent curling, lifting and shifting during the printing process.
