About Me

Five time winnner of the Golden Ink Knife award and all-around blanket washing champion. I love the smell of ink in the morning, and miss the days when I could smoke a cigar and wash my press with kerosene. Electronics are our future and are great and all that, but there is still something to be said for hot lead, cold steel, bright lights, and lots of motors, pumps and labor.

Copper plate from my “Illuminations” (intaglio, relief, 2010)
Process, Drawing backwards January 2010
This print features an aerial view of Dallas-Fort Worth at night. Because the plate is reverse-reading, Fort Worth — west of Dallas on the globe — appears on the right.
